I’ve raved before about California Baby products, and since I’m not one to stay quiet for long, I’m going to rave some more. While there are plenty of shampoos and bodywash products on the market that clean and smell good on babies, not many can claim they contain organic or sustainably grown ingredients. And few can claim that they don’t contain Sodium lauryl sulfate, DEA, or other ingredients that could potentially impact health. If you think socks are just socks, think again.  You obviously haven’t seen Trumpette socks!  The first time I laid eyes on Trumpette socks was at a little boutique children’s shop sometime last year.  Seconds after my eyes caught sight of the sock display, my then three year old also caught a glimpse of the socks–she exclaimed, “Wow, mommy!  Those socks are so cute!”  Exactly my same thought. 

Trumpette makes baby and toddler socks that look like Maryjanes, Ballerina Slippers, Sneakers, Baby Golf Shoes, and even Baby Camoflauge! 

Also, if you’re easily sucked into buying a product because of the packaging (like me!), you definitely won’t be able to say ”no” to these socks.  They come in an adorable box.  If you have a child who digs playing with boxes, this means two gifts in one!  Gotta love that, right?

You’d think that after having three children, I’d have plenty of baby booties lying around the house. Nope. Nada. Nothing.

Yesterday, I couldn’t find a set of booties anywhere in the house, let alone two singles to create a mismatched pair. All I wanted to do was go outside in the cool weather with my little one without having ten frozen baby toes on my conscience. So, what did I do instead? I spent hours researching baby booties online (with my little one curled up next to me, of course)!

Although I didn’t find any booties with built-in locator beacons, I did find some that look pretty toasty. Here’s a compilation of my three favorite finds:

1. Robeez Booties. I absolutely love Robeez shoes (they actually stay on little feet!), so it’s hardly surprising that I’ve also fallen in love with Robeez booties.
